Mr. Mark Allen Hamblin, age 64, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at his residence in Bainbridge, Georgia.  As per his request, no formal services will be held.  A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Mark was born December 5, 1956, in Lincoln, Illinois, to Homer Lee Hamblin and Roslie (Kaup) Hamblin.  Mark married Hortense (Falcon) on December 1, 1980, in Lincoln, Ill.  He was employed by Myer Industries for 25 years until its’ closing.  He then worked at several jobs, Holland Trucking in Atlanta, Ill., Johnson’s Lumber in Atlanta, Ill., Central Illinois Grain Inspection in Bloomington, Ill., and RP Lumber in Lincoln, Ill., before deciding to retire and move to Georgia.

Mark had several hobbies that he enjoyed.  He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed on-line gambling for fun, playing the lottery, and crossword puzzles, because he had a lot of useless information collected in his head.  Mark enjoyed listening to and collecting classic Rock and Roll albums.  He was very good with his hands, repairing or rigging anything that needed to be repaired.   Mark had a very good sense of humor.  He was a loving Papaw, husband, father, and great friend to many.  He was a caring son, brother, and fun uncle who loved to stir the pot and teach kids to do things to annoy parents.  He was a fan and active on social media.  Mark was a repeat offender of “Facebook Jail”.  He laughed every term he served.  Mark would want to remind you all to love Bigley….and Trump won.
