Harvest House of Hope gearing up for annual golf tournament

Crooked Oak Golf Club in Colquitt will be the scene of the Harvest House of Hope Annual Golf Tournament next Friday, May 14.
House of Hope Director Cissie Franklin is excited with the turn out thus far, saying they have right at 148 players with two team slots left for each tee time.
The first tee time is at 8 a.m. with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. The next available tee time is at 1 p.m. with registration being held at 11:30 a.m. All golfers will dine together at noon and enjoy a meal catered by Café Lele.
Franklin is also excited about the auction bid offerings, which include a half day hunt for four people at Southwind Plantation, a Crimson Tide Alabama football signed by Nick Saban, a half day chartered fishing trip for four people an Andersonville Seminary Scholarship and a Rocky Bend Flint River Retreat.
All bids for these items can be placed online at the Harvest House of Hope Golf Tournament Event Facebook page or by calling 912-381-5034. All bids must be increased by increments of $50.
Other events will include a grand prize of $400 to the winning team, raffle prizes, swag bags for all players and a cash prize of $10,000 for a hole-in-one sponsored by Franklin’s Spring Creek Ford.
All proceeds will go to benefit The Harvest House of Hope, Inc. a non-profit 501c3 organization offering a long-term faith based, residential recovery program for women affected by alcohol or drug addiction.
