Loyce Ann Hodge was born September 2, 1960 in Fayetteville, Tenn., the daughter of William Sr. and Edith McAllister Hodge. She worked as a collection agent for Farmer’s Furniture and attended Highway Freewill Baptist Church.

Loyce loved everyone she met but certainly didn’t hold back. No one ever had to guess what she was thinking. Family was important; the grandchildren were top priority and her dogs, considered to be “her babies”, in a close second. Loyce enjoyed fishing and cooking. Her signature dish was her Thanksgiving dressing.

Survivors include her children, Torri Glisson & Susan, Anthony & Reneé Glisson, and Christopher Smith, all of Bainbridge; her siblings, Kathy Whitworth of Illinois, Eva & Mike Phillips of Brinson, and Billy & Linda Hodge of Indiana; her grandchildren, Cody, Jonathan, Dustin, Lee, Gage, Laycee, Dalton, Gavin, and Christian; and her great-grandchildren, Madelyn Mae, Graclyn, Adalynn, and Kreed. Loyce was preceded in death by her parents.
