Glenn Fritz Eck, 92, of Quincy, Fla., passed away Friday, February 26, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Gretna Baptist Church with Rev. David Warr officiating. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Glenn Fritz Eck was born September 8, 1928 in Gregg Township, Pa., the son of Arthur and Hazel Fritz Eck. Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a truck driver by trade and held the beauty of the landscape in his mind. Glenn lived in Ocoee and Orlando, Fla. moving to North Florida in 1994. Horses and donkeys fascinated him but could never hold his attention like an antique tractor. Glenn was a member of Gretna Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Allen Eck and his wife, Beth, and Terrie Eck Best and her husband, Gene; his siblings, Freddie Wuestner, Paul Wuestner, and Nancy Keister; his grandchildren, Chris Eck, Sarah Eck Thomas, and Katie Eck Clinton and her husband, Chris; and his great-grandchildren, Bailey Prince, Kathryn Eck, Abbie Thomas, Caleb Eck, and Dylan Eck. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Balum.
