On May 2, 1959, Sister Rosie Lee Fain was born to the late Willie K. Patterson and Emma Mae (Mitchell) Patterson in Bainbridge, Georgia. She gained her wings and transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital (Murfreesboro, Tennessee). Rosie was a graduate of Bainbridge High School (Bainbridge, Georgia) and a 1984 graduate from Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee where she received a degree in Business Management! Rosie was employed by Advantage Expo as a Substitute Coordinator and was an advocate for the Smyrna Middle School CDC students. She was a proud member of the True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Deaconess Ministry. Reverend Donald Whitmore is the Pastor.
Rosie was preceded in death by her brothers: Oscar Patterson aka “Bo,” and Louis Patterson aka “Batman.”
Rosie loved watching her reality and game shows daily; working and expanding her mind by doing crossword puzzles, she was the “Guru” of Goodwill and loved falling asleep in her swing. To know her was to love her. We love you and we are going to miss you!
She leaves to cherish her loving but never forgotten memory, Devoted Husband of 36 years, Michael Fain; children: Durell Fain, Julius (Ebony) Fain and Michelle Fain; grandchildren: Logan, Gwendolyn, and Madoly Fain and James Corthron; brother: Willie (Willie Ann) Patterson, Jr.; sisters: Angel (Nellum) Grant and Emma Patterson; uncles: Enoch Mitchell, Frank (Emma) Mitchell, Roger (Alza) Williams, Artis (Mary) Williams and George Williams; aunt: Minnie Mitchell; brothers-in-law: Lewis Fain and john (Pamela) Fain; sisters-in-law: Theresa Fain and Sabrina (Randall) Bass; devoted constituents: Shirley Gordon, Jacjie Odom, Janet Lee, Martitia Woullard, members of the True Gospel M.B. Church along with an enormous amount of family and friends.
