Bobby Edward Hand was born February 11, 1968 in Chattahoochee, Fla., the son of Charles Hand, Sr. and Irene Rabon Hand. He worked as a mechanic for SF Sulfur and was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church.

Bobby was a good ol’ boy. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help with a project or a need. His smile was an indicator of the joke he was about to tell or the prank he was about to pull…and he was always smiling. Besides fishing, Bobby enjoyed every single thing he did with his grandchildren. He would say, “Having grandchildren was better than children because you can spoil them and send them home.”

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Dawn Harrell Hand; his children, Bobby Edward Hand, Jr. and Cameron Paul Hand, and his wife, Meagan, all of Bainbridge, and Remington Hand and Ashton Hand both of Richwood, Texas; his siblings, Johnny & Amy Hand, Peggy & Timmy McMillan, and Charles Hand, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Vada, Adeline, Barrett, Kimberlyn and Kane.
