Margaret “Peggy” Wildhagen, 92, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Friday, August 28, 2020.

Margaret Audrey Easton was born January 31, 1928 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Loyal Clyde Easton and Florence Turner Easton.  Margaret was born with a knack for taking care of people.  She would go on to graduate college with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and worked as a nurse for many years.  Margaret was a member of First United Methodist Church where she sang in the Chancel Choir.  When Margaret wasn’t volunteering at the VFW and the American Legion, it was typically during football season, so she could be at home cheering on her beloved Buffalo Bills.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, William Wildhagen; her sons, William Wildhagen, Jr., of Springville, NY and Karl Wildhagen (Laura); her son-in-law, Ed Budny; her sister, Marilyn Betschen (Fred) of Elmira, NY; her brother, Robert Easton of Camillus, NY; her sister-in-law, Alberta Matesick of Lancaster, NY; her grandchildren, Luke Budny of Walnut Creek, CA, Charlotte, Alexis “Lexi” and Stephanie of NY, and Mellisa of Anchorage, AK; and her many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen; and her siblings, Laverne Easton, Willis Easton and Muriel D’Agostino.
