The Bainbridge girls J.V. soccer team went 2-2-1 this year. We started out with a loss to TCC at home 0-2. We then lost our second game 0-7 against Brookwood, but we played their varsity. We won our next two games 10-0 against Early County and Thomasville. We finished away to TCC and tied 1-1.
I felt like the girls really grew in their effort and understanding of the game over the course of the 5 games. We started the season very unorganized and with a lack of cohesion within the squad, but by the last game the girls were confident in their roles and worked well with each other. Key players for the JV team this year have been Sarah Victor, Annakate Littleton, Emma Briggs, Nicole Tyre, and Elvira Hernandez.
