Ms. Grubbs to wed Mr. Kelly

 

Natalie Keller Grubbs, of Bainbridge, and Joseph Kelly, of Climax, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Shannon and Linda Cullifer and the granddaughter of Jean Whiddon of Bainbridge, the late Lupe Story of Bainbridge and Don and Doris Keller of South Whitley, Indiana.

She is a 1999 graduate of Bainbridge High School and from Bainbridge College in 2003, with an Associate degree in Marketing and Management. She is employed as a medical coder for Brault US.

The groom-to-be is the son of Roger Paul and Juliet Alegria Kelly, and the grandson of Melvin Thomas and Maggie Mae Kelly of Climax, and Rogacino and Nativadad Alegria of Santa Anna, Manila, Philippines.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2004, and from Valdosta State in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. He graduated from Florida State University in 2010 with a Master’s in Mathematics Education, and from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2013, with a Specialist’s degree in teacher leadership. He is currently a doctoral student at Kennesaw State University, as well as being a high school teacher. He currently holds the honor of Decatur County Schools Teacher of the Year, as well as holding the office of Mayor for the City of Climax.

The wedding is planned for March 28, 2020 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bainbridge.
