Earl Willis Hutto was born December 31, 1944 in Bainbridge, the son of James Ollie Hutto and Mary Jane Bennett Hutto. He worked as a truck driver for Sing Oil until his retirement and was a member of Christian Faith Church.

“Big Pa”, as he was affectionately known, loved everything about his grandchildren especially spoiling them and sending them home to their parents. Wide open spaces, whether that being on the river fishing or on the road in his big rig, were where Earl collected his thoughts and sorted through life. He always made time to listen and share his own stories with the family and friends who meant so much to him.

Survivors include his children, Dorenda & Tony Miller, Robert & Sherri Rollins, Brenda & Joey Stogner, all of Bainbridge, and Debbie & Eddie Cannon of West Palm Beach, Fla.; his sister, Ruby Rathel of Colquitt, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myra Hamrick Hutto; and his siblings, Cora Martin, Sarah Rathel, Grace Bodiford, Vera Cantley, Bill Hutto, Odie Allen, Mattie Rathel, Betty Glass, Homer Hutto, R.B. Kelly, Hershel Hutto, Cathleen Kelly and an infant sister.
