BLT Class Act seeking directors for summer shows
Bainbridge Little Theatre is seeking directors for both summer Class Act Theatre productions.
Every summer the Bainbridge Little Theatre presents a children’s and a teen Class Act workshop where students get to participate in a full play or musical for four weeks. The age group for the children’s play is 8-12 years-of-age, and for the teens it is 13-18 years old. Students learn on and off stage theatre skills. Each program has a maximum enrollment of 30 students.
Rehearsals for the children’s portion will begin Tuesday, May 26 and run through June 19 from 3 to 6 p.m. Performance dates are June 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 21 at 2:30 p.m.
Rehearsals for the teen production begin Tuesday, June 23 through July 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. Performance dates for the teen’s will be July 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. and July 19 at 2:30 p.m.
Persons interested in applying to direct either of these productions must complete an application that is available on the BLT Facebook page, or by contacting Rachael Crager at rmcrager33@gmail.com, or call the Bainbridge Little Theatre’s Chairman Rachael Herendeen at 229-726-7953.
Completed applications must be submitted by February 7.
Submittals will be reviewed by the BLT Board of Directors.
