Kenneth Ray Josey was born February 5, 1958 in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Dance and Frances Kelly Josey. He lived his entire life in the Climax community. Kenneth was a heavy equipment operator with James Knight Logging and a member of Community Primitive Baptist Church.

Kenneth enjoyed racing, mud bogging, working with heavy machinery, and spending time with his family and friends. If he wasn’t with family, you could always find him in the yard piddling with whatever he could find. Kenneth loved farming and working in a garden. When he was able, if the church doors were open, he was there.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Sandra H. Josey; his children, Charles & Shanon Josey of Marianna, Fla., Ricky & Angela Grubbs of Attapulgus, Ga., Gracie Huckeba & Oliver of Eustis, Fla. and Amber Grubbs & Tim; his siblings, Vicky & Jackie Thomas, Patricia & Wayne Blanton, and Thomas & Nancy Josey all of Climax; his grandchildren, Gauge, Raydin, Bo, Ali, Lailah, Arabella, Parker, Brydon, Kimberly, Sophia and Isaiah; his many nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Sock, Rascal and B.J. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ricky Helms.
