Louise Gray was born December 8, 1923 in Haleburg, Alabama, the daughter of James Wesley and Carrie Brown Gray. She graduated from Seminole County High School and has been an upstanding member of the local community her entire life.  Spending time with family made Louise the happiest she could be.  She would always find time to cook a huge, delicious meal and surround herself with her loved ones.

Louise never met a stranger.  She would stop anyone passing by and carry on a conversation like she had known them for years.  Her love for people is probably why she dedicated her life serving people in the house of the Lord.  Louise was a member of Iron City Baptist Church, where she has attended regularly for many years.  She helped with the church nursery, was a youth leader, a Sunday school teacher, and even taught Vacation Bible School until she was in her 80s.  She was very proud of her church, their services and the messages that were taught there.

Survivors include her children, Wes & Scarlett Dozier of Iron City, Jim & Natalee Dozier of Bainbridge, and Brenda Dozier, also of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Ben, MaryAnna, and Will; and her great-grandchildren, Bella and Donovan. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dozier; her son, Robert G. “Bob” Dozier; and her siblings, Lois Easom and Lloyd Gray.
