Eloise was born on April 7, 1932 in Wakulla County, Florida.  Her family moved to Bainbridge, Georgia; where she lived the remainder of her life.  Eloise graduated from Bainbridge High School.  She owned and operated Eloise Fine Fabrics for years and later worked at Park Avenue Bank, retiring after 22 years of service.  Eloise loved her family and enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends.  She was an accomplished seamstress and cook.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Eloise jumped at a chance to go on vacations.  She loved going to the mountains, cruises, and trips to Biloxi, which was one of her favorites.  She enjoyed playing cards with her friends in local card groups.  In her younger years, she and her husband were members of the local square dance club and enjoyed that tremendously.  She and Ennis enjoyed searching flea markets for that special find.  Eloise will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Oak City Cemetery, Monday, December 16, 2019, 11 a.m.  The Rev. Andy Glover will officiate.

Eloise’s daughter was her caregiver and received tremendous help from Kindred Hospice and would like to express her appreciation for their help, compassion and care.  Donations may be sent in Mrs. Pittman’s memory to Trinity Baptist Church, 1865 Tallahassee Highway, Bainbridge, Georgia 39819.

On-line condolences may be sent at www.Coxfuneral.net.  Cox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
