Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you haven’t already packed Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts for children in need around the world, there is still time—but it’s running out!

Samaritans’ Purse reminds packers to be sure to include a “wow” item, a photo of yourself or family, and a personal letter to let the child know how much they are loved and remember to pack the box to the brim with goodies.

The organization also asks that packers include a $9 donation for each box to cover the cost of processing, shipping and Gospel materials. Others can also donate by finding out where their shoebox is going and purchasing a tracking label that follows their box across the world.

Above all, Samaritan’s Purse asks that packers join them in praying for the children who will be receiving the gifts collected this year. Specifically, they pray the children who open these gifts would know God loves them and that they will open their heart to the Gospel.

Drop off dates for the Bainbridge Operation Christmas Child are November 18-22 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, located at 2133 Dothan Road in Bainbridge.
