Pamelia (Lynn) High, 63, died August 31, 2019 at Archbold Hospital after a short bout with cancer.

Lynn was born on Feb. 16, 1956, in South Florida. Her mother Elizabeth was a great country music fan and formed a band of her children with Lynn, her brother Billy and others at the ages of 14 and even played a festival with Loretta Lynn.

The family moved to Thomas County in the 1980s and Lynn was the painter who painted the inside of The Lapman-Patterson House, using 57 different colors.

After her father’s death the family moved to Seminole County in the early 1990s. Lynn and her brother Billy, who passed in 2012, played in Fred and Pauline Baker’s house band at Bookies’ Bar in Bainbridge.

In 2000 Lynn, her brother Billy and her mate Bob Mitchell formed the County X-Press Band with Keith and Lori Burke and were the house band at the American Legion in Ochlochnee, Ga. for six years.

Lynn’s oldest son Mark died in 1999 leaving two of Lynn’s granddaughters, Candy and Zanna. Lynn leaves a son Shane in Bainbridge and grandson named Mark.

Lynn also has a sister Debbie in Tennessee.

Braswell Funeral Home in Pelham handled the burial in the Pelham Cemetery,.
