Bainbridge puts up strong finishes at Tift Invitational

Stokes Moore took fifth place out of 230 runners last Saturday at the Tift County Invitational 5K, helping push the Bearcats to a sixth place team finish in one of the most competitive meets in Southwest Georgia.

Moore crossed the finish line at 18:08. Behind him was Jared Davis at 19:37, Landon Watts at 20:07, Aiden Matthews at 20:58, Andru Matthews at 21:41, Tom Emmons at 21:42, Titus Porter at 23:15, Hunter Harris at 23:47, DeZhreon Donaldson at 23:57, Joe Emmons at 24:20, Hunter Matthews at 24:20, Thomas Brock at 24:55, Mariovan Dominguez at 26:53, Joshua Fillingame at 27:53 and Hayden Martin at 29:10.

Rylan Bland took the charge for the Lady Cats in the girls 5K, clocking in at 24:46. Behind her was Raidyn Oliver at 29:58, Kayla Braswell at 33:43, Olevia Diaz at 37:02 and Sara Matthews at 40:36.

In the middle school boys 2-mile race, Brock Williams led the way with a time of 14:45. Caden Godwin clocked in next for the Bearcats at 15:09, followed by Aiden Angie at 16:15, Dawson Cottles at 16:51, Amarion Thompson at 18:41, Samuel Fitzgerald at 19:37, Sam Surratt at 20:54 and Zayrion Smith at 21:34.

The middle school girls 2-mile race saw Lady Cat Haydyn Klock coming through at 16:36, followed by Kinsey Ward at 18:46 and Estrella Diaz at 18:56.
