Troop 502 from Bainbridge held its September camp at The Corps of Engineers camp ground River Junction on Lake Seminole.

The Scouts visited the Lower Pool area of the Jim Woodruff Dam and Power House. While the Scouts were looking over the area, a warning siren sounded that got the attention of everyone present. There was a pause. All waited and watched expectantly. Suddenly  turbulent and  rolling water rumbled forth from the Power House. That was the start of the Turbines power generation process.

It was impressive to witness and  easy to appreciate how powerful water can be as it churned by, the Scouts said.
