Bainbridge, GCA runners give strong performances at Deerfield-Windsor meet

Bainbridge and Grace Christian Academy put up strong results at the Deerfield Windsor Invitational last Saturday in Albany.

Stokes Moore led the Bearcats in the GHSA Boys 5K, clocking a lightning-fast 17:12.39 5K, good enough to place him second overall.

Behind him was Landon Watts with a time of 19:17, Jared Davis at 19:26, Kendall Glover at 20:12, Aiden Matthews with a 20:48, Tom Emmons at 21:25, Donye Mills with a 22:06, Joe Emmons at 22:15, Ashton Matthews at 22:34, Hunter Harris at 22:57, Titus Porter at 23:01, DeZhreon Donaldson with a 23:04, Thomas Brock with a 24:54, Mariovan Dominguez at 24:57, Juan Escamilla Sotuyo at 25:34, Hayden Martin with a 28:43 and Joshua Fillingame also at 28:43.

For the GHSA Girls, Rylan Bland led the Lady Cats with a 22nd place finish and a time of 24:27.51. Behind her was Raidyn Oliver with a time of 28:37, Kayla Braswell with a time of 32:45 and Olevia Diaz at 35:16.

Wyatt Carpenter finished the GISA Boys 5K in 17:19, taking third place overall and first for the Grace Christian Academy Cougars. Gabe Parker was behind him with a 19:46, Jack Holden clocked a 21:15, Seth Parker came in at 21:38, Kevin Brooks finished at 23:04, Ben York came in at 24:25, Jackson McConnell clocked in at 28:20, Jay Lanier came in at 28:41 and Isaac Friedman came in at 29:49.
