The City of Bainbridge has another amazing July 4th planned for the community.
The City has partnered with Taurus USA, Bainbridge CVB, Action GM, Holiday Inn Express, Kozlarek Law, Dairy Queen, Inland, Ivey’s Funeral Home, York Engineering, and Southwest Georgia Farm Credit to bring together a night of fireworks, music and entertainment for all.
The night will start at 5:45 p.m. with American blues/ rock guitarist Paul Nelson gracing the stage, followed by alternative rock band, Better than Ezra at 8:10 p.m.
Events coordinator Megan Wimberley said she reached out to a variety of people in the community and asked who they would be interested in hearing play and these two artists were brought up. Wimberley reached out to their managers and were able to have them play at the free event.
Concluding the musical performances, the firework show will begin at 9:45 p.m. and last roughly for 15-18 minutes Wimberley said. The fireworks will be musically choreographed and it is definitely something everyone will want to see.
Wimberley hopes everyone will come out, because they also have some surprises in store that guests will have to be there to enjoy.
The event has food and beverage vendors, along with kid’s activities so there is something for every age.
Wimberley thanks everyone who has helped make the event possible and can’t wait to see everyone out on Thursday night.
