Mary Frances Hayworth Mott

Mary Frances Hayworth Mott, 90, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in High Point, North Carolina.  Formerly of Bainbridge, Georgia, Mrs. Mott moved to High Point in 2018.  Services for Mrs. Mott will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 29, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, Bainbridge, Georgia.  Although the service will conclude at the Chapel, Mrs. Mott will be interred in New Fountainhead Cemetery.  The Rev. Marty Brock will officiate.

Mary Frances Hayworth was born July 18, 1928, in High Point, North Carolina.  Her parents, William Avery Hayworth and Sallie Treva Stanley Hayworth have preceded her in death.  Frances went to business school and worked as an administrative assistant.  She married the love of her life, Robert Lee Mott, Jr.  Mr. Mott passed away June 11, 2018.  Frances was not just a wonderful wife, but a wonderful pastor’s wife.  She and her husband were together for over 60 years. She was always led and dedicated to mission work.  The couple served as missionaries in the Panama Canal Zone; serving primarily in San Paulo, Brazil.  Frances was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bainbridge.  She was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class, sang in the senior adult choir and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union.   She was completely dedicated to her faith and family.  This precious lady will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

Frances Mott is survived by her children, Bethany Fai Mott Brock of High Point and Robert Lee Mott, III and wife, Jennifer of Spring Hill, Florida, brothers, Charles Harrison Hayworth of Melbourne, Florida and Thomas Edison Hayworth of High Point; grandchildren, Brannon Brock, Brittany Tryon, Christopher Mott, Candace Mott, Jacob Mott, and Riley Mott; and great-grandchildren, Reagan Tryon, Arlaina Tryon, Harrison Brock, Silas Brock, Lukas Brock, and Everett Brock.
