Catherine “Kathy” Chapman, 60, of Bainbridge Ga., went home to be with the Lord May 25, 2019, peacefully at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville, Ga. Survivors include her two children, Kebo Chapman and Jenaye Adams, and grandson Jayden Adams; her mother Faye Griffin and her sister Cinda Butler.

Kathy was a mother and a homemaker and her family was the light of her life. She dedicated everything to making sure that her children were the center of her world. She epitomized the meaning of resilience, independence, and hard work and had a drive to never give up and made sure that it will always shine through her family. Kathy was a member of Climax Baptist Church. She was strong in her faith; she loved the Lord with all her heart. Her strength and light will carry on.

Due to family travel arrangements her service was held May 28, 2019. The family wishes to extend the warmest gratitude to all those that cared for Kathy in her final days as well as those that knew her throughout the years that made her life so joyous.
