Gary Eugene “Dana” Braswell, Jr., 65 of Bainbridge, Ga. passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga.

Funeral services for Mr. Braswell were held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home where Rev. Robert Crapps and Rev. David Mason officiated. Interment followed in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery where Jeff Braswell, Ronnie Ingram, Alan Ingram, Tim Hicks, Jeffery Croom, and Josh Croom served as casketbearers. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Braswell was born at Fort Stewart in Liberty County, Ga. on October 16, 1953 to Gary Eugene Braswell, Sr. and Clara Merle Monday Baggerly. He served in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a carpenter.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Clara Merle Monday Baggerly; his sister, Rhonda Baggerly and her husband Randy; his brother, Roger Braswell; and three nieces, Abbie Baggerly, Kate Braswell and Alli Dukes; and his nephew, Reid Dukes.
