Four arrested in weekend drug sting

On the afternoon of Friday, June 21, Georgia State Patrol Trooper Will West called for assistance in reference to three suspects taken into custody on drug related charges during a traffic stop on Tallahassee Highway. Officer Jason Barlow responded to the traffic stop and transported the subjects to Public Safety Headquarters for booking and fingerprinting.
Roy Trautman, 41, of Abbyville, Alabama was charged with Sale, Manufacture, Distribution of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Felony)
Taylor Blair, 22, of Shorterville, Alabama was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Less Than 1 ounce (Misdemeanor)
Oscar Lamar Blair, 46, of Shorterville, Alabama was charged with Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, Tire Requirements, Seat Belt Violation (Misdemeanors)
On Saturday night, June 22, around 7pm, Bainbridge Public Safety Captain Tim Mixon, Sergeant Chuck Strickland, and Officers George McMillan, Tarow Barney, LaDaric Jones were dispatched to the Budget Inn on Scott Street in reference to a drug complaint. Upon arrival, Officer McMillan knocked on the room registered to Kenneth Robert Lusk, Jr. Lusk answered the door and Captain Mixon advised Lusk that he had received a complaint of drug activity in his room. Lusk gave consent to the officers to search the room. Captain Mixon searched behind a wall mirror and located a plastic bag containing smaller bags of a white powdery substance suspected to be Molly (Ecstasy). Officer Barney located a crystal-like substance wrapped in clear plastic wrap lying on a table, suspected to be crystal methamphetamine.
Kenneth Robert Lusk, Jr., 41, of a Bainbridge address was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute (Felony)
Both cases were turned over to BPS Investigator Chris Jordan.
