Lena Bland was born May 24, 1931 in Donalsonville, Ga., the daughter of D.A and Berma Braswell Bland.  Lena worked at Williamson/Dickies for many years as a seamstress.  She was a Baptist by faith and had a heart made of gold.  Lena would do anything she could to help anyone in need.  That old saying “She’d give her shirt off her back” to help folks out often fell short of what she was willing to give.
