Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Milliner of Colquitt died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at her residence.  Funeral services will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Colquitt with Sam Dunn and Hank Sloan officiating.  Interment will follow at Colquitt City Cemetery with David Tucker, Roger Mann, Chad Whatley, Craig Josey, Lance Trylovich, Tony Josey, Todd Dunn, and Andy Dunn serving as pall bearers.  Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 10:00-11:00 AM at First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Milliner was a member of First Baptist Church of Colquitt where she was a member of TEL Sunday School Class. She was a beautician and owner of Dorothy’s Beauty Shop for 52 years.

She is survived by one son, Larry (Joy) Milliner of Enterprise, Al.; two daughters, Rita Sloan of Cumming, Ga., and Gail (John) Yates of Bainbridge, Ga.; four grandchildren, Hank (Stacie) Sloan of Cumming, Kadee Sloan of Fairview, NC., Damon Yates of Bainbridge, and Lee (Brynn) Milliner of Enterprise; seven great grandchildren, Anslee and Emme Milliner, Macaila and Daniel Sloan, Tadiyos, Josie, and Desmond Sloan; five siblings, Betty Joe (Ed) Tucker of Colquitt, Ga., Shirley Mann of Albany, Ga., Marilyn (Sam) Dunn of Bainbridge, Carolyn (Buddy) Glass of Daytona, Fl., and Betty Mae Josey of Colquitt; companion and friend for 45 years, Ethel Mary Reed, and caretakers, Stephanie Johnson, Tessie Brackin, Diana Johnson, Christy Ramirez, Deja Jackson, Jennifer Grant and Sharon Hall.  Mrs. Milliner was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Milliner; one grandson, Devon Yates, one grandaughter, Damie Yates, her parents, Homer Brinson and Mattie Alma Daniels Josey; four siblings, Ann Trylovich, Pat Whatley, Gene Josey, Cecil Josey, and one son in law, Mack Sloan.
