Bearcat soccer players named on All-Region teams

The 2019 All Region 1-5A soccer team has been announced, and Bainbridge High School is well represented.
Caleb Harris (Senior) and Cesar Chiguil (Junior) were selected as First Team All-Region representatives. Tom Emmons (Junior), Joe Emmons (Junior), Nix McIntosh (Junior), Angel Munoz (Senior), Andru Matthews (Junior), and Mason Ard (Freshman) were all selected as Honorable Mention representatives.
Caleb Harris, a forward, finished the season as the team’s top goal scorer with 22 goals and 7 assists.
Cesar Chiguil, a central midfielder, finished the season with 10 goals and 11 assists.
Tom Emmons was a reliable defender, and he finished the season with 1 assist and 1 field save. Joe Emmons played well in a defensive midfield role, and he finished the season with 1 goal, 6 assists, and 1 field save.
Nix McIntosh played in the central midfield and as a forward during the season.
Despite battling injuries and illness during the season, Nix finished the season with 7 goals and 4 assists. Angel Munoz played primarily as a winger, and he finished the season with 12 goals and 2 assists.
Andru Matthews had an outstanding season playing in a defensive position. He finished the year with 3 goals, 2 assists, and 7 field saves.
Finally, Mason Ard played in various midfield positions and as a forward during the season.
He finished the year with 9 goals and 10 assists.
