Bainbridge Decatur County Humane Society of Bainbridge, GA announced it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to support its disaster relief needs from damage sustained during Hurricane Michael.

“We are honored and humbled by the Petco Foundation’s generosity and support. We sustained a great deal of damage during the hurricane as well as a loss of business due to the lack of resources to run at full capacity. We also had a large influx of animals come in that were displaced. This grant helped keep us operational while we recovered and is instrumental in helping us move forward,” said Ashley White, Shelter Director at Bainbridge Humane Society.
