Bruce Lamar Sasser

Bruce Lamar Sasser, age 78, a resident of Barnwell, Ala., passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

He was a retired Baptist minister and very devoted to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jewel A. Sasser of Barnwell, Ala.; one son, Allen Sasser (Sharon) of Adalusia, Ala.; four daughters, Cheryl Sasser of Bainbridge, Ga., Glenda Gardner (Larry) of Spanish Fort, Nita Hall (Kenny) of Bay Minette, Merle Davis (Rob) of Daphne; grandchildren: Blake, Emily, Will, Paige, Beau, Phillip, Amanda, Brittney, Lexi and Morgan; seventeen great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Barnwell Baptist Church, 7780 U.S. Hwy. 98, Fairhope, Ala. on Monday, April 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. The family will begin receiving friends at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Barnwell Baptist Church.
