The National Weather Service (NWS) and Decatur-Grady 911 are warning residents of some potentially severe weather rolling through our region Sunday.

A squall line is expected to develop out ahead of a strong cold front on Sunday. The storms should arrive to the west of Panama City, Florida, and Dothan, Alabama, around daybreak, and then move east across the rest of the area during daylight hours.

Main hazards include damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and possible tornadoes, according to the NWS of Tallahassee.
