In recent soccer action the Lady Bearcats varsity team dropped a couple of region contests to Thomas County and Veterans by the scores of 6-1 and 9-0 respectively.

In the Game against Thomas County the Lady Yellow Jackets scored three goals in each half for the victory.

Bainbridge Junior Midfielder Jamya Brinson scored the lone goal in the second half, for Bainbridge against the Yellow Jackets, as she intercepted a failed clearance ball, that she quickly put back in for the score from 10 yards out.

In the loss to Veterans Tuesday the Lady Warhawks took a 7-0 halftime lead in route to the 9-0 final score.

Despite missing a couple of  defenders I thought we played hard in both contests, but turnovers on our side created too many chances that unfortunately for us, resulted in the final scores in both contests.
