It was a lively opening reception on Sunday, March 17, for the Student Art Show 2019 held at the Firehouse Arts Center from 2 to 4 p.m.

Both the Kirbo Gallery and the Harrell Gallery were full of excited youngsters, proud parents and grandparents, as well as local school art teachers who enjoyed exhibiting the success of their year of instruction.

Elementary school art (K-4th grade) was in the Kirbo Arts Gallery, and 5th through 12th grades were displayed in the Jimmy Harrell Gallery.
