Saturday morning the Kiwanis Club of Bainbridge held their annual River Run, where they had 65 runners participate and raise money for good causes.

Through the run, the Kiwanis Club raised more than $4,500 to help with projects throughout the year. Some of the projects include purchasing dictionaries for third grade students in Decatur County, donating to the Friendship House to help with the cost of their annual beach trip for the kids, Man of the Year, outstanding students/teachers awards in Decatur County, helping purchase a flag drop box and purchasing a wheel chair swing for one of the parks in Bainbridge.

The club knows it would not have been a success without the participants, sponsors and businesses that donated items to the Kiwanis Club members and family.
