Miss Sizemore to wed Mr. Smith in April

Darryl and Lisa Sizemore of Lawrenceville, Ga. are announcing the engagement of their daughter Rebecca Lynn Sizemore of Acworth, Ga. to Jordan Tyler Smith, son of Jimmy and Kristi Smith of Lawrenceville, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ellis and Betty Sizemore of Bainbridge, Ga., Gary Tutterow and Paula Ortiz of Kingwood, Texas and the late Wanda Tutterow Anderson and the late Alma Jean and Jim Gwaltney.

Miss Sizemore is a graduate of Mountain View High School of Lawrenceville and is pursuing her degree in Nursing at Kennesaw State University, with an expected graduation date of December 2019.

As a high school student she was involved in the drama club, swim team and played basketball. She has been on the President’s honor list at Kennesaw State and is currently working as a nurse extern at Kennestone Hospital.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Gary and Brenda Fricks of Alexander City, Alabama, Marsha Morgan of Johnson City, Tenn. Deceased grandparents are Paul and Mamie Smith.

Mr. Smith is a 2014 graduate of Cass High School in Cartersville, Ga. and attended Georgia Gwinnett College. He is currently serving in the U.S. Army, 2-505TH Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3RD Brigade Combat Team, 82ND Airborne Division.

The wedding is scheduled for April 13, 2019, at 5 p.m. at 9 Oaks Farm.
