Funeral services for Shirley Ann Baggett Moore, 74, of Climax, Ga., are at 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Antioch Baptist Church, Climax. Rev. Jerry Harrell will officiate. Interment will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Climax. Mrs. Moore passed away at her home in Climax, on Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Active pallbearers will be Dustin Cox, Matt Ricks, Devin Polk, Tam Nguyen, Lanice Collins, Trent Stewart and Michael Whittle. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Antioch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Moore was born on September 24, 1944, in Cairo, to the late Cohen Baggett and Ruth Barrett Baggett. On July 12, 1974, she married Thomas Marion Moore, who survives. They were married for 44 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Climax.

Survivors include: her husband, Thomas Moore of Climax; daughters, Anita Whittle of Tallahassee, Fla., Lillie Roberts (Jack) of Climax; son, Lonnie Moore of Climax; grandchildren, Jessica Battle of Tallahassee, Joshua Dollar of Bainbridge, Ga., LeeAnna Ricks of Climax, Ashley Nguyen of Bainbridge, Erika Polk of Climax; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Belle Jennings of Thomasville, Ga., Jane Stewart (Medford) of Cairo, Katherine Mills of Panacea, Fl; brother, Elmer Baggett of Crawfordville, Fla; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Betty Taylor, Virginia Collins; and a brother, Tom Baggett.

The family will receive friends at Antioch Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
