Rita Key Phillips

Mrs. Rita Key Phillips, age 68, of Colquitt, died Friday 8, 2019, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 11, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating. Interment followed at Cook’s Cemetery, with Lee Barwick, David Barwick, Steve Key, Scott Brinson, Hugh Franklin and Robert Givens serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Women Active for Christ of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Phillips was a secretary for Double R. Flight Service and was a member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Rodney Phillips of Colquitt; one son, Eli (Megan) Phillips of Colquitt; two daughters, Tina (John) Maloy, Ann (Henry) Harbin of Colquitt; six grandchildren; Garrett (Niki) Maloy, Samantha Maloy, Logan Phillips, Ellaina Phillips, Hawk Phillips, Hank Harbin; and one brother, Gene (Linda) Key of Bainbridge.

Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, W.D. and Bertha Mims Key; one

Sister, Sue Redding; and one grandson, Dakota Phillips.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
