Willie Daniel Williams was born July 25, 1925, in Calvary, Ga. the son of William Daniel Williams and Ellie Stephens Williams. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Bill was a mechanic by trade. He married Martha Darley Hayes in 2004 and they made their home in Bainbridge where they were members of Morningside Baptist Church.

Bill loved the outdoors. He fished, watched birds and worked in his yard. He took special pride in knowing he was the one and only yard keeper. Bill enjoyed watching the flowers bloom in their own seasons and was grateful for his part in tending their growth. Without a doubt Bill loved southern cooking and a good fish fry.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Martha Hayes Williams; his daughter, Debbie Williams Rericha of Tallahassee; and his grandchildren, Catherine Rericha, Suzanne Rericha and Sean Daniel Williams. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Fred Daniel Williams.
