More laughs for the new year await with Intilli comedy play

Henry Intili has done it again.

Following the success of his first production, “A Comedy Evening – A Rehearsal,” performed in August, 2018, he is now bringing a sequel to the stage, titled  “A Comedy Evening II– A Rehearsal.” Only it won’t really be on the stage. It will be what Henry refers to as theatre in the round. And, like the first, he says the audience will be pulled into the production, thus “shattering the glass wall that exists between the audience and the actors.”

Henry says he loves doing comedy. “We need to have more comedy these days and laugh more,” he professes.

It will basically have the same cast members that appeared in the first one—more or less. He promises, “It will be the same crew and the same craziness.”

They are all faces recognized from Bainbridge Little Theatre shows, although it is not a production of the local theatre. It will be in a change of venue at the Joe L. Sweet Community Center, 601 Potter Street.

This production will be sponsored by the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society, with all proceeds from ticket sales going to the Society.

Tickets are $15 each and are available online at the Shelter, or at the door on the nights of production, Friday, January 11 and Saturday, 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Brace yourselves for a look at what really goes on in rehearsals, and a promise of more to come. Henry says he has a lot more material on the two main characters, Salvatore and Francois, and has already written plays numbered three and four.
