Robert (Bob) Kirk Howard

Mr. Robert (Bob) Dirk Howard, age 59, of Brinson, Georgia, passed away very suddenly Saturday, December 29, 2018.  A memorial service was held in his honor at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home.  The Rev. DeWitt Phillips and the Rev. Dr. Gerald Trotman, Jr. officiated

Robert (Bob) Dirk Howard was born May 1, 1959, in Spokane, Washington, to Huey Critz Howard and Martha E. Hood Howard.  His parents have preceded him in death.  Bob was a “Jack of all trades”. He was an expert mechanic, welder and builder.  He did a lot of fabrication work on farm equipment.  With a great sense of humor, he loved people and they enjoyed being around him.  He was a good friend and caring, loving person.  Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He loved animals.  He and his wife, Viola, have been together almost 30 years.  Bob Howard will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends.

Robert D. Howard is survived by his wife, Viola Griffin of Brinson; his brother, Jeff Howard; sister, Ardel Heddington; brothers-in-law, Ronnie, Danny, and Charlie Ritter; and sisters-in-law, Judy Phillips, Barbara Barrineau, and Liz Ritter.
