The Christmas spirit is alive and well in the home of Lori Eubanks.

She has always loved Christmas and it shows in her tastefully decorated home. She says she has spent 30 years collecting Christmas decorations.

Lori says it usually takes her a couple of days to decorate. This year she started early. “I did it for Charles,” she explains. Her husband Charles was terminally ill and passed away on November 28. “ I like to decorate and as Charles was sick, this was a way we were able to enjoy them together for a bit.”

For those who don’t believe in Santa, a visit to the home may make a believer out of you. Lori has a special love for Santas. A friend recently went through her home counting Santas and came up with the number of at least 50. Her favorite one lights up and plays music.  “As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it,” she confesses.

Her dining table is set with her best Christmas china, and she redoes the china cabinet each year so she can display more of her many Christmas themed plates.

The living area of the home has an open design and a lovely Christmas tree has been placed at the space between the dining and sitting area.

Built-in bookcases in the family/dining room are filled with many symbols of Christmas, especially Santas. Boughs of greenery with twinkling lights adorn the many displays, giving off a warm essence of Christmas joy.

Lori doesn’t stop there. She also has decorations in the kitchen, where a Mr. and Mrs. Santa preside over the food preparations.

Touches of Christmas are in all the bedrooms, including one bed covered with a gala Christmas quilt and there are Christmas pillows everywhere. A deep covered patio runs across the back of the house where even more Christmas abounds.

As Lori doesn’t want to leave any family members out of the fun, she even has a Christmas blanket on the dog bed placed before the fireplace. It is shared by her two little fur babies.

She is definitely ready to enjoy the gathering of her family, including three grandchildren.

All in all it is a beautifully decorated home that inspires a feeling of the Peace of Christmas.
