John Emory Harrison

Funeral services for John Emory Harrison, 72, of Whigham, Ga. are at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Climax Baptist Church, Climax, Ga. Pastor Steve Poppell will officiate. Interment will be in Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Climax. Mr. Harrison passed away at his home in Whigham on Saturday, December 15, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be Kaleb Harrison, Bobby Culverson, Guy Crawford, Bryan Wynn, Chris Wynn, Billy Moore, Mack Harrison and Emmett Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be the Whigham High School Class Members of 1965.

Mr. Harrison was born on November 21, 1946, in Quincy, Fla., to the late Johnny Eugene Harrison and Ercel Collins Harrison. On May 27, 1972, he married Ann Bell Harrison, who survives. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his wife of 46 years, Ann Bell Harrison of Whigham; son, Kevin Harrison (Sara) of Whigham; daughter, Angela Crawford (Guy) of Whigham; and grandchildren, Kaleb Harrison, Hannah Harrison, Makayla Crawford, Morgan Crawford. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, December 17, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
