Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” White Fiveash, age 85, of Donalsonville, passed away Friday, December 7 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Pastor James Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.

The daughter of the late Alma “Buddy” White and Lucile Harrell White, she was born January 15, 1933, in Blakely, Georgia. She graduated from Blakely-Union High School in 1949 and later attended Bessie Tift College where she obtained a Secretarial Science Degree. After returning home, she worked for Three Notch Electric Membership Corporation in Donalsonville where she met her future husband, Jack Benford Fiveash, to whom she was married for 53 years. Later, upon moving to Bainbridge, Georgia, she worked for Willis Lumber Company for a number of years.

Mrs. Fiveash was a homemaker known to her family and friends for her wonderful cooking and creative sewing. Her greatest passion was her flowers and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Perianne Fiveash Roth and her husband Fred, Alabaster, Alabama and Mary Fiveash Youmans and her husband Bob, Iron City, Georgia; a son, USAF Master Sergeant (Retired) Jack (Jay) B. Fiveash, Jr. and his wife Kristine, Warner Robins, Georgia; two sisters, Peggy W. White, Carrollton, Georgia and Barbara W. Pritchett and husband John, Georgetown, Georgia; a brother, William Michael “Mike” White and wife Dana, Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; a brother-in-law Bobby Clyde Fiveash and his wife Verla, Toronto, Canada; six grandchildren, Wesley Youmans, William Youmans, Warren Youmans, Kelby Roth, Dylan Fiveash, and Brittany Fiveash; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Fred Roth, Bob Youmans, Wesley Youmans, William Youmans, Warren Youmans, and John Pritchett, Jr.

Mrs. Fiveash was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Lucile White, her husband, Jack B. Fiveash, Sr., a brother, Harrell White, and nephews Mathew Pritchett and Fred Fiveash.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice or Friendship Cemetery for help in debris removal and re-beautification costs due to Hurricane Michael.

The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caregivers that took care of their loved one during the last months: Mattie Buggs, Sandra Hudson, Toni Dunlap, LaShonda Taylor, Carla Young, and Kindred Hospice.
