The Bainbridge Middle School seventh grade boys basketball team defeated the Thomasville Central Yellow Jackets by the score of 44-16.

Leading the way in scoring for the Bearcats was Adyn Grant 13 points, Mikel Kendrick 10 points, Kennan Phillips 8 points, Amari Yabrough 6 points, Corey Sanders 4 points, and Mikavius Grant rounded the scoring with 2 points.

“The basketball team is getting much better on defense, but they are squandering too many offensive points by not finishing plays,” said coach Patrick Clark. “Free throw shooting and rebounding must improve in order for this basketball team to continue on our winning streak.”

This improves their record to 3-0 and they will be hosting Colquitt County Packers this Saturday at the Bainbridge High School Gym. The games will be starting at 9 a.m.
