Rescheduled Walk to End Alzheimer’s this Saturday

Published 5:03 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2018

It is not too late to join in the Bainbridge Alzheimer’s Walk. It will take place this Saturday, November 10, with registration at Willis Park from 8 to 9 a.m. Following the 9 a.m. opening ceremony, the walk begins at 9:30. The walk route may be abbreviated due to the amount of debris still in the streets, but many thanks to the City of Bainbridge who completed the clean up on the Square so that this event can go forward.

The event had originally been planned for October 20, but was postponed due to extensive tree damage from Hurricane Michael throughout the city.

Whether living with Alzheimer’s, caring for someone with the disease, or simply concerned about the toll Alzheimer’s takes on the nation, walkers are welcome to join in and support the effort to end Alzheimer’s.
