Each fall the members of the Decatur County Artists Guild display their talents in an exhibit at the Gilbert H. Gragg Library. It opened October first and will be there the entire month of October.
The Guild has some very talented artists and they invite the public to take a few minutes to visit the library and view their artistic works.
The exhibit is a very diverse collection of oil and watercolor paintings, photography, and pencil drawings from people you know as well as some newcomers.
One of the new artists this year is Andrew C. Sabori, a newcomer to the community who was previously featured in The Post Searchlight’s July 14 edition.
More of his work will be seen in the spring, as his educational traveling exhibit titled, “Coming to America—The Immigrant Experience,” is scheduled for The Firehouse Arts
Center.
