Bearcat fans are encouraged to wear purple to the football game with Crisp County next Friday, Sept. 21.

In addition to supporting the Bearcats, wearing purple, the color of the Alzheimer’s movement, will honor the more than 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease and the millions more who care for them.

Alzheimer’s Walk volunteers will be present at an informational table at the game and will sell purple Alzheimer’s bracelets for a minimum $1 donation. The second annual Bainbridge Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on the square on Saturday, Oct. 20. For more information contact any member of the local committee or call (800) 272-3900.
