Ms. Louise West Hodges, age 91, stepped into the arms of Jesus Friday, August 10, 2018, at her residence in Brinson, Ga. Visitation was held on Sunday, August 12, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home. Services were Monday, August 13, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Pastor Newton Cranford officiating. Interment was at County line Baptist Church Cemetery with Anthony Reagan, Chris West, Mark Bruner, Michael Brown, Alex West, and Eric Worthington serving as active pallbearers.
Ms. Hodges was born December 10, 1926, to Pete Glass and Pearl Cook Glass. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband & children’s father, Early West (died in 1974); husband, Jimmy Hodges; two brothers, Kenneth and Luther Glass; one sister, Emma Jean Smith; son-in-law, Ray Forrester; and grandson, Rusty Darley. She is survived by one sister, Calista Sanders of Bainbridge, Ga.; three sons, Jimmy West (Bonnie) of Kathleen, Ga., Steve West (Greg) of Cottonwood, Ala., Tommy West (Tina) of Colquitt; six daughters, Betty Reagan (Jack) of Warner Robins, Ga., Patricia Forrester of Dothan, Ala., Janice Cooksey of Quincy, Fla., Patsy Worthington (Ronald) of Brinson, Alice Jarvis of Brinson and Vickie Bush (Mitch) of Brinson. Ms. Hodges also leaves to cherish her memory 18 grandchildren, 36 great -grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and her two furbabies, Sparkle and Pepper.
Ms. Hodges was of the Baptist faith and was a very devoted Christian. If you knew her, you knew what a special lady she was. To know her was to love her.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks and love to Lisa Ware of Bainbridge, for her devotion and dedication for the extraordinary care given to our mother for the last seven years of her life.

The family received visitors at the home of Patsy and Ronald Worthington at 3234 Bethel Road, Brinson, GA, 39825.
