A book signing will be held Saturday, August 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Firehouse Arts Center Kirbo room. Local author, Patsy M. Henry releases her third book in the series titled The Sharecropper’s Daughter.

The Sharecropper’s daughter, Sara, and her hubby, Jimmy, were both blessed to have grown up in large families. As adults they formed lasting friendships with their church family, but the most unexpected family for them turned out to be their B&B family. The author notes that life often knocks you down, and the fall doesn’t hurt quite so badly when you have someone there to help you break the fall. That’s what family is all about. She invites the reader to follow along as Sara and Jimmy and their family face the challenges that come their way.
