Known for her fine taste in antiques, Flora could take one person’s trash and refinish it into treasure. She enjoyed the thrill of a good find almost as much as the transformation soon to come. She was an animal lover and never let a stray pass her by without a snack and little affection. Flora loved a round of golf almost as much as she enjoyed the tranqulity of the beach.

Survivors include her children, Micki Barber Sanders and her husband, Kent, of Idaho and Carl Barber and his wife, Billie, of Bainbridge; and her grandchildren, Misty Tice and Micki Seivers. In addition to her parents, Flora was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Guy Barber; her daughter, Terri Seivers; and her brother, Jack Archer.
