Terry LeDon Cowart, 74, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Monday, June 25, 2018.

The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com. Terry LeDon Cowart was born September 11, 1943, in Columbus, Ga., the son of D.B. and Mary Sheffield Cowart. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Jim Woodruff Dam near Chattahoochee, Florida. Terry loved coaching Little League Baseball, loved the outdoors and enjoyed Zydeco/Cajun dancing and music. A kind, caring man, he was devoted to his family, especially his four lovely granddaughters.
